With more than 15 years of experience in managerial and business development roles across a diverse portfolio of assets, Josh has a unique ability to identify strategic, value-adding opportunities and optimize their potential. He has proven expertise in leading multidisciplinary teams, providing strategic direction to maximize engineering, operational and commercial impact.
Prior to joining Howard Energy Partners in January 2012, Mr. Weber held various positions, both midstream and upstream, with Southwestern Energy Company from 2005 to 2011. His roles included Vice President of Planning and Commercial Operations for Southwestern’s midstream company SWN Midstream where, among other projects, he negotiated interstate pipeline agreements resulting in the construction of two new pipelines with a total capacity of 3.3 billion cubic feet (Bcf) per day.
Josh’s most recent role with Southwestern was as the General Manager for the company’s ArkLaTex Division, where he managed nearly 100 employees, invested a capital budget of approximately $20 million, and was responsible for all aspects of more than 1,100 operated wells, 500 Bcf of reserves and approximately 95 million cubic feet per day of net production.
Previously, Josh held various planning and analysis positions at Burlington Resources and Transocean Offshore, and worked as a consultant in the energy practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Josh received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Rice University.
